Simple, confident, and clear — sets the stage for expert care with Pre and Post waxing tips!
Pre-Waxing care
Cleanse the Skin
Use a gentle, non-oily cleanser to remove dirt, sweat, and oils that can interfere with the wax adhering to the hair
Exfoliating is KEY
Light exfoliation 24–48 hours before waxing helps remove dead skin and prevents ingrown hairs. Avoid harsh scrubs right before waxingAvoid Moisturizers & Oils
On the day of your wax, skip lotions or oils—they can create a barrier between the wax and hairTrim if Needed
Hair should be about ¼ inch long. If it’s too long, trim it to reduce discomfort and improve resultsTake a Pain Reliever (Optional)
Taking ibuprofen 30–45 minutes before can reduce discomfort and inflammation, especially for sensitive areas
Post-Waxing Care
Soothe the Skin
Apply a calming product with aloe vera, chamomile, or witch hazel to reduce redness and irritation
Avoid Heat and Sweating
Stay away from saunas, hot baths, intense workouts, or sun exposure for 24–48 hours post-wax to prevent irritation and bacteria buildupWear Loose Clothing
Tight clothing can rub against freshly waxed skin and cause bumps or ingrown hairsNo Touching or Scratching
Keep hands off the waxed area to avoid transferring bacteria and irritating the skinExfoliate Regularly (Post 48 Hours)
Start exfoliating gently a couple of days after waxing, 2–3 times per week, to prevent ingrown and maintain smooth skin
